The Middle East marketplace: Bringing the brands
We put an office in Dubai and hired people out of this office to look at this marketplace.
It’s exciting when you see what Dubai has done in the last ten years and then they come out recently and say they want to triple their leisure.
It’s going to be a very exciting market to be a developer and as I said we just announced
Wyndham here.
We have a Ramadas here, we’re looking at bringing some of our other brands here.
Very few developments announce those type of drastic changes and actually deliver on them.
They certainly have delivered in the last ten years so we’re very excited about this market.
But Saudi Arabia as well has really announced to try to grow the leisure business and so we have our Wyndham under construction in Riyada, we have Ramadas there already and we’ve recently announced an economy brand that they want, you know quality hotels for their public to travel and stay there. So that’s a very exciting market for us as well.
